I am Aamir Saleem, a Ph.D. scholar at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), Genova, Italy, where I’m also affiliated with the University of Genova. With an MPhil in Physics (Condensed Matter), I specialize in Materials Physics and have recently transitioned into researching carbon nanotubes and transistors for optoelectronics and nanoelectronics, an exciting and rapidly advancing field.
Under the guidance of Prof. Denis Garoli and as part of the innovative DELTA Lab led by Dr. Remo Proietti, I am driven by the opportunity to explore the potential of new materials and devices that could revolutionize technology. My work focuses on combining simulation and theory with hands-on experimentation to push boundaries and achieve real-world applications.
