[STUDENTS AT IIT] - PhD students Intro

PhD student

If you're considering starting a doctoral path, you're in the right place!
Through our doctoral programs, IIT aims to nurture the future leaders of scientific research who will tackle global challenges tomorrow!
The IIT-funded doctoral courses are structured in collaboration with Italian and international universities. Additionally, IIT hosts some doctoral programs designed in collaboration with prestigious institutions such as Open University and the University of Manchester, as well as those funded through internationally relevant projects such as the Marie Skłodowska-Curie program.
Students awarded scholarships by partner universities will have the opportunity to conduct their research projects in our state-of-the-art laboratories, contributing to a dynamic environment for revolutionary discoveries.
To explore currently available doctoral paths, check out the open positions on the PhD Programs section. Alternatively, visit the websites of IIT's partner universities and the Marie Curie, Open University, and University of Manchester projects to learn how to participate in their selection processes.
If, upon publication of the rankings, you are awarded a doctoral scholarship, you'll be ready to embark on your exciting journey at IIT!
During the period preceding the start of the doctoral program, you will be guided first by the university and then by IIT research unit assistants to finalize all necessary procedures to access our laboratories.

If you are a non-European national pursuing a PhD, the university will provide support for obtaining the necessary documents to come to Italy and those mandatory for studying activities within the national territory.
