IIT-BEDIMENTIONAL

Joint Lab established in 2020 with BeDimensional, society that was born as a spin-off of Graphene Labs at IIT. The aim of the project is to develop innovative materials for the use of batteries and electrolyzers.

IIT-BRACCO

Joint Lab established in 2019 with the initial scope to scout for a project of common interest that was identified in 2020 and is therefore focused on wearable sensors for smart injections. Topics of common interest currently include: diagnostic imaging, omics sciences, biotechnology for the development of biological models, materials science and nanotechnology, computational science and artificial intelligence.

IIT-CAMOZZI

The company is a leading manufacturer of components for industrial automation, particularly in the field of pneumatic automation for applications in the life sciences, health and textile machinery areas. The research activities aim to develop new gripper prototypes by increasing their autonomy, adaptability, connectivity, data acquisition and processing.

IIT-CONGREGAZIONE DELLE SUORE INFERMIERE DELL'ADDOLORATA-OSPEDALE VALDUCE

Joint Lab established in 2021 to pursue research in rehabilitation and assistive medicine. The joint lab aims to co-design new technologies and rehabilitation protocols and validate them directly in a clinical context.

IIT-CRESTOPTICS

Joint Lab established  in 2022 and focused on researching and developing of prototypes based on Brillouin spectroscopy to develop a user friendly system of mechanical microscopy.

IIT-DANIELI AUTOMATION

Created in Genoa in 2017 to research and development activities in the fields of advanced robotics and artificial intelligence applied to industrial automation in hostile environments.

IIT-D-TAILS

Joint Lab in the microscopy and medical diagnostic sectors, established in 2022. It is focused on techniques that are able to detect the early phase of neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. Extended.

IIT-HONDA RESEARCH INSTITUTE

Created in Genoa in 2019 to develop and realize a control framework able to allow a humanoid robot to help a human being in the execution of specific tasks.

IIT-INAIL

Joint Lab created in Genoa in 2013 in an agreement between IIT Rehab Technologies and INAIL to develop and implement new prosthetic, orthotic, and rehabilitation devices with a high technological impact.

IIT-INTELLIMECH

Joint Lab created in Bergamo at Kilometro Rosso Innovation District with the aim to realize a teleoperated humanoid robot embedding most of the IIT technologies as a demonstrator for the Intellimech Consortium and its 30+ companies.

IIT-IRCCS San Camillo

Joint Lab established in 2021 to pursue research in customized robotics neurorehabilitation. The joint lab aims to develop computational techniques for the analysis of signals deriving from different areas of the nervous system both at peripheral and central level. An additional aim is to carry out a feasibility study to test the upper limb FLOAT exoskeleton used in sensory-motor rehabilitation on healthy subjects and neurological patients.

Joint Lab established in 2020 to group ongoing and future joint research activities under major thematic clusters such as genomics, autism, etc.

IIT-ISTITUTO NEUROLOGICO NAZIONALE CASIMIRO MONDINO REHAB

Joint Lab established in 2020 to study preclinical and clinical neuroplasticity. The joint lab aims to test the upper limb FLOAT exoskeleton in the case of upper limb paralysis, develop customized protocols regarding cerebral neuromodulation after stroke and innovative algorithms to analyze electrophysiological data.

IIT-ISTITUTO NEUROLOGICO NAZIONALE CASIMIRO MONDINO VISUAL

Joint Lab established in 2018 to develop clinical tests and rehabilitation technologies for young patients with visual impairment and analyze their perceptive, motor, cognitive, and neuropsychological abilities.

Joint Lab established in 2020 and focused three strategic areas: robotics, supercomputing and artificial Intelligence.

IIT-NIKON

Joint Lab created in Genoa in 2014, the Nikon Imaging Centre at IIT (NIC@IIT) is a core facility for light microscopy. NIC@IIT addresses the needs of a wide community of scientists and professionals on an international level.

Joint Lab created in Lecco (at the Novacart production site) in 2016, to develop novel cellulose-based substrates and to produce biocompatible/biodegradable food-grade containers with enhanced performance.

Joint Lab established in 2021. The joint laboratory aims to pursue research in multisensory integration and interaction and psychiatric diseases, with the goal of co-designing new rehabilitation protocols and validate them in a clinical context.
