Shabarish received his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering at the SRM Institute of Science and Technology, India in 2019, after developing his thesis work "Four Degrees-of-freedom Pneumatically actuated Bipedal Robot".
He received his master degree in Design Engineering in 2022 from Politecnico di Milano. His thesis work "Application of additive manufacturing in oncology : a study in development of patient-specific devices" concerned the development of a methodology to generate patient-specific devices for treatment and post-treatment care for radiological treatment of cancer. The thesis was carried out in collaboration with European Institute of Oncology.
He has been part of the iRonCub team at the Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence research line as a Research Fellow since July 2023, working on hardware design aspects of the iRonCub robot.
